Social engineering scams affect everyone—it is something we all navigate as part everyday life. This presentation will explore the science behind these scams, both from a technical and psychological perspective. Additionally, we will step through actual case examples, market trends and how we can increase awareness and protect the community.

Bio

Ayelet Biger-Levin is a senior leader with over 20 years of experience in the technology and information security industry, with a diverse background in product management, R&D, marketing, and professional services. She recently held the role of SVP of Market Strategy at BioCatch, focused on helping financial institutions provide seamless and secure digital transactions and now founded a company that is focused on online scam detection. Prior to joining BioCatch, Biger-Levin spent over 10 years at RSA Security in various roles in both the Fraud Intelligence and Enterprise Authentication solution areas. She also held various roles at IBM, focused on innovation. In addition to her main responsibilities, Biger-Levin has also been an active member of the Women’s Leadership forum at RSA.
