Session: The extraordinary ways women are shaping the metaverse
As with most hyped new technology, often it is men who get to lead the narrative. But this time, there are a number of brilliant women who are creating, building and shaping what the metaverse will become. This talk brings you their inspiring visions and suggests practical ways more women can learn, participate and enrich this new technology.
- The metaverse is already changing how brands create, advertise and engage with consumers.
- Women can't afford to be left behind when it comes to new technology. We need to be where the change is being created.
- The women shaping the metaverse are doing it across virtual real estate, couture fashion, for the queer community, for climate change and more.
- You can participate in the development of the metaverse through DAOs and community groups, buying NFTs and Tokens, and supporting projects (and you don't even need VR goggles!)
