Session: Becoming Visible: Reinvention, Identity, and Leadership for Women of Color in Tech
This talk explores what it means to navigate identity, belonging, and reinvention as a woman of color in the evolving world of tech. While the industry continues to push forward with innovation, many women still struggle with visibility, confidence, and feeling like they deserve a place in the rooms they’ve worked hard to reach. I share my personal journey of stepping into tech from a non-traditional path, rebuilding my voice, and finding belonging while everything around me—AI, leadership, expectations—was shifting.
This session speaks to anyone who has ever questioned if they were “enough” to lead, contribute, or innovate. We’ll look at how to hold space for yourself in environments not built with you in mind, how to navigate reinvention without losing your identity, and how to lead with courage even when you feel unseen. Attendees will walk away with practical ways to reclaim their confidence, amplify their leadership, and build spaces where they and others can belong fully.
