Bio

Christy has been a C-level executive at some of the most prominent firms in global market and financial services and currently serves as the Chief Compliance Officer at Clear Street, a fintech company building modern infrastructure that simplifies complex trading. Her career journey to leadership has been non-traditional and has allowed her to create her own path to a seat at the table.

Christy came into compliance with no experience, relatively late in her career, after taking five years off to raise children. She started in a new, predominantly male-dominated industry and made a name for herself by bringing a unique approach to problem-solving. Ultimately, working her way up to being the CCO of one of the largest market-making firms in the world.

As the lead compliance officer her role includes advocacy, ensuring the company is meeting regulation standards, providing counsel advice, and communicating with regulators. Her experience is proof that it’s never too late to find a career you’re passionate about.
