Legacy systems power some of the most critical products and services we rely on, but they also carry constraints: brittle integrations, limited documentation, siloed knowledge, and high risk when change is introduced. AI is often positioned as a “replacement” story, yet most organizations need an “overlay” approach: adding intelligence on top of what already works, without disrupting core operations.In this session, we’ll explore practical patterns for applying AI over legacy systems: safely and incrementally. We’ll cover where AI can create immediate value (e.g., easier onboarding & user interface interactions, accelerating incident response, translating legacy requirements into modern artifacts, automating support workflows, improving search across tribal knowledge and documentation), and where it can cause harm if introduced carelessly (security, privacy, hallucinations, auditability, and hidden operational costs). You’ll leave with a clear decision framework for identifying the right use cases, and concrete steps to pilot responsibly - so teams can modernize with confidence.

Corina is the Chief Product Officer at eSolutions, where she leads the strategy for B2B digital products. Over the past year, her primary focus has been on ALTEUS, the AI platform designed to monitor all AI systems within a company, ensuring governance and efficiency in enterprise AI usage.Corina is also an active member of the IT Consultancy team, providing specialized consultancy services and conducting in-depth IT audits.
