One of the biggest problems these companies face is ensuring that they have the right talent who possess the skills needed make their analytics-first journey successful and can keep it running smoothly. These skills are changing all the time and there’s a need for analytics professionals to periodically upscale their skills to stay on top of their game. Bio
Deirdre Toner is the managing director of the AWS Worldwide Specialist Data Team. She is a seasoned executive with experience leading sales, technology, and go-to-market activities at technology companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100. Deirdre joined Amazon in March 2019. Prior to Amazon, Deirdre had executive roles at DataStax and SAP. Deirdre also has extensive experience leading high growth sales teams and business development at Aster Data, Business Objects, and Sybase.
