Session: How the dream of becoming tech director in data analytics came true
A girl who studied artificial intelligence that always dreamed of working in this field never imagined she was going to work along an amazing team in the leadership track. She and the team would accomplish big things while taking care of their well-being. She wasn’t the only one who wanted to pursue this road, however, she had a lot of support and role models, specially her mom, to follow to be brave enough to take the opportunity.In this talk, we will talk about the road in leadership and the challenges we face in this process. Also, different people who took part of this road, inspired me and supported me through the different phases.
Some advice based on my experience on how to move from individual contributor to the manager path will be shared. As well as what it means to be a leader and the main skills developed while helping others to grow.

Bio
Diana Gamez is a Mexican girl passionate about technology, mainly robots and helping other people to grow.She believes that technology and artificial intelligence can have a positive impact in everyone’s life. Hence why she became technical director of data and analytics. So she could innovate with technology in the industry.
Following the leadership track showed her another way of sharing technology and ideas with others.
Few years ago, speaking in public was a big challenge for her . However, her passion for learning new stuff and sharing them with others pushed her to overcome the fear of speaking in front of the people creating her leadership program that she implemented in the company.
