Session: A Lateral Move Might Be Your Best Move

I'd like to talk about how lateral career moves have the potential to elevate your career and get you closer to the C Suite. Oftentimes we are so focused on seeking a promotion and moving up the ladder that we don't open our eyes to the power and possibility of lateral moves.

Key Takeaways

  • Step outside of your comfort zone
  • Be open to new and unfamilar opportunities
  • If you can't break through the glass ceiling, go around it.
