Session: Fit for Purpose: A CHRO’s Blueprint for the Human-Machine Partnership

As AI moves from a "nice-to-have" to a core operational layer, leaders must redefine what it means to be "fit for purpose." In this session, EDB’s CHRO Einav Lavi shares the specific framework she uses to audit every department for automation potential. We’ll move beyond the fear of replacement and focus on how to strategically "repatriate" human hours into high-value areas like innovation, strategic thinking, and complex problem-solving.

Key Takeaways

  • Moving from "Admin HR" to "Strategic HR": Using AI to automate sourcing and sentiment analysis to reclaim 30% of your leadership’s time.
  • The "Three-Question Audit": How to identify which roles are ripe for AI augmentation vs. human-led strategy.
  • How to build a "flat" communication culture where employees can bypass hierarchy to drive rapid change.

Bio

Einav is an innovative advisor and mentor to CEOs, C-suite leaders, and boards, in areas of human capital strategy, full talent cycles, human capital in intelligent systems and AI-driven workplaces, change management, mergers and acquisitions, and organizational scaling for growth. Prior to EDB, she spent more than 20 years developing and leading world-class HR departments internationally to complement corporate strategy in fast-growing, private equity–backed companies.

Einav is a recent recipient of two awards: Finalist of the “2023 CHRO of the Year” from HRO Today Magazine and recipient of the 2022 “Women that Build – Inspiring Executive” award from Globant. Her thought leadership has also been featured in several articles she has published in business and HR magazines, in areas of diversity, talent transformation, and AI at the workplace.

Einav holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Cognitive Science, and a Masters’ degree in Financial Economics from Israel.
