Session: How sexual harassment is a silent killer for women's tech careers

By the age of 35, 50% of women in tech will have left the field. Companies often talk about attracting female tech talent but retention seems to be an afterthought that most organisations aren't willing to dive into. Why? Because they would find that sexual harassment, workplace misconduct and toxic workplaces play a far larger role than most can imagine.

Bio

After being witness to a sexual harassment case that affected half the women around her while she was in Datascience, Eleanor spent 8 months researching with her co-founder Helena the proliferation of workplace misconduct. From that research emerged Metta Space with a mission to help companies prevent, report and resolve workplace misconduct.

Eleanor is passionate about Datascience and AI's application towards gender equality. She is an avid reader and frequently mentors women looking to start their tech journey.
