Bio

Gloria Quintanilla leads communications and content at Canonical. Prior to joining Canonical, she founded a marketing consulting company and helped startups in a variety of industries scale up their business. Her former clients include Visma, Peak Capital, Endeit Capital, Hubs (a Protolabs company) and SmartRecruiters. Gloria also co-founded one of Uruguay’s first makerspaces run with open design hardware. Gloria has degrees in cultural anthropology from Hamilton College and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

Andreea Munteanu leads AI at Canonical, the publisher of Ubuntu and a provider of open source security, support and services. With a background in data science across industries like retail and telecommunications, she helps enterprises make data-driven decisions with AI and drive scalable transformation projects with open source tooling. Passionate about open source and amplifying its impact across regions and industries, she enjoys sharing her knowledge, mentoring young professionals and having an educational impact in the industry.

Varshi is the Engineering Director for IS DevOps teams at Canonical, with a mission of improving the experience of running complex business operations for ITOps and support teams. These teams are working on upgrading and building operators for easier installation, security upgrades, and day X maintenance of the applications managed by IT operations teams. After graduation in Computer Science, Varshi developed enterprise software for multi-channel financial firms before moving to the United States to pursue a Master's in Management and Information Systems. She has since then worked for healthcare, IT, and retail companies playing varied roles in software development, architecture, and product management.
