Bio
Grace Ewura-Esi Andrews is an avid storyteller and entrepreneur. She has enthusiastically worked in anthropology and technology for over 15 years and brings a cross-cultural focus to how we interact, teach and develop technology.She holds a Bachelor’s in Sociology & Anthropology and International Politics, as well as a Master’s degree in Public Administration with a focus on business in emerging market economies and economic access for indigenous and native communities in Central and South America and Sub-Saharan Africa. During the pursuit of this work, she was able to learn the value of culturally aligned practices and the importance of empathy in business. This experience infuses her current work as the Program Director at CIVIC Software Foundation, where she uses narrative and storytelling as a data collection method that leads to more impactful systems and policies.
