Session: Your Future in Digital Healthcare: Improve Lives in the Moments that Matter

Purpose at work is now increasingly more important, as we have the opportunity to choose how and where we spend our time and energy. Learn from GE Healthcare's Chief People Officer, Betty Larson, about the importance of women at the forefront of Med Tech.

For more than 2 years, the pandemic has shown us the importance of digital health tools, from logistics and diagnostics, to clinical treatment. The same is true for delivering care in areas of circumstantial need. For example, GE Healthcare recently donated $4 million in medical equipment to war torn Ukraine. Putting together digital healthcare (Med Tech) and purpose has created exciting opportunities to choose work where we can make a tangible difference. This may include helping a radiologist see a lesion more clearly, advancing maternal health with artificial intelligence for smarter outcomes, or creating a digital platform for increased efficiency and data aggregation across medical devices.

It's never been a more exciting time to find opportunities to make a difference with precision healthcare, enabled by digital tools. The session will also include an applied AI example from GE Healthcare's Principal Architect, Aruna Narayanan. Let's explore what opportunities look like and hear firsthand from women at the forefront of Med Tech innovation.

Key Takeaways

  • Learn about the importance of women in Med Tech
  • See examples of digital healthcare and women currently behind the innovation
