Today we need to be high-performance more than ever. Still, we want to have families, partners, and hobbies and feel ourselves alive instead of acting like robots. Does it really achievable? Yes, if we find the right state with our daily jobs. What makes you high and productive? What brings you down? How to manage your team to increase productivity sustainably? The answer to this is energy management. Energy is behind every step and action we are going to take.We need extra energy to lead others and work in the VUCA world. To measure our energy levels, Pierre Casse proposed the vitality quotient (VQ) concept. VQ indicates the level of energy you have now. VQ can influence your emotional quotient and your intelligence quotient. Today, VQ should be a part of business strategy and leadership courses. Let me give you some examples. If you have 0% energy, you’re in an unconscious state. If your energy level is up to 30%, you may be able to maintain predictability and routines. At 45%, motivation may occur, and you may need 65% or more for successful cross-functional work and leadership. Energy underlies much of the advice we hear from the greats. What kind of activities add to or reduce your power? This knowledge is a key self-awareness tool for increasing your productivity. For the last 15 years, I have collected techniques and frameworks that work for working moms, women who work in “men” industries, and those who achieve results regardless of gender and social status.
The workshop will consist of an intro part: what it is and how it works. And a series of simple exercises to do right now and share with a team.
