Session: Beyond Optics: Privilege‑Savvy Leadership for Intentional Inclusion

In this session, C‑suite and senior leaders will explore how privilege quietly shapes performance, opportunity and risk in their organisation. Drawing on Authentic. You and research into privilege dynamics, participants will map their own advantage, examine how it influences key talent and investment decisions, and design one 90‑day ‘privilege‑savvy’ intervention they can implement immediately. They will leave with a concrete experiment, success measures, and an accountability plan that links intentional inclusion directly to innovation, resilience and growth

Key Takeaways

  • A privilege‑savvy intervention designed for your own organisation – a concrete 90‑day experiment to improve how opportunities, visibility and stretch work are allocated at senior levels.
  • A peer‑tested view of your inclusion strategy, enriched by candid insights from other global senior leaders about what is actually working (and what is not) in their contexts.
  • A practical lens to de‑risk talent and product decisions, by spotting where unexamined privilege may be creating blind spots, groupthink or reputational risk, and simple ways to correct course.
  • A confident leadership narrative about privilege and inclusion that you can use with your board, ExCo and teams, so you can talk about this topic without blame, defensiveness or vague platitudes.
  • 2–3 ready‑to‑use tools – high‑leverage questions, meeting designs and sponsorship patterns – that plug straight into your existing governance and leadership routines without demanding a new programme.
