Session: Why Should Anyone Care About Your Change?
Purpose: To put people into the heart of decision making for changeAim: To change the way people plan for change so their organisations are future ready and resilient
In this session, we will explore the holistic approach to change which identifies the external and internal influencing factors that can and will have an impact on not only the change itself, but also on how people think and feel about the change. It will also help identify the level of readiness the organisation and people are for the change to happen. Foresight and organisational development tools, such as horizon scanning and trends analysis will be shared in relation to the application of defining the context of change. Then the ABChange model will outline how to lead people through the specific change. Based on research carried out during 2021-2022, the dangers, risks and pitfalls that other global organisations have experience in the application of these tools and the challenges in the adaption of change will also be shared.

Jennifer Bryan is a published author, TEDx and global speaker and Managing Director of Change and Leadership, who has worked with nearly 40 different organisations across multiple industries. She is also a Vice President of the Association of Change Management Professionals UK. She has a passion for putting people at the heart of the decision making room.
