Offense or defense: Are your actions rooted in what you aspire to, or what you defend?Let's challenge the narrative that perfect is a position to defend, and redefine what courageous, honest ambition looks like.
We could discuss how authentic and effective leadership requires integrating our shadow selves, such that we are no longer blindly ambitious, nor entirely defensive. I could use the example of my own experience battling anorexia while my career took off, and what I learnt about the decision to recover that impacts who I am as a leader today.
