Session: How We Can Save the Rainforests with AI
Our planet is facing a global crisis: climate change. Huawei and Rainforest Connection (RFCx) have partnered to create a collaborative and innovative solution to help fight climate change in unexpected ways. RFCx is leveraging the Huawei Cloud and ModelArts to expand its AI solution, Guardians, to stop illegal logging and learn about biodiversity in real-time. This year RFCx has developed 15 additional partnerships with local governments and organizations around the globe to deploy its Guardians technology. This work has proven that we already have a lot of the technology and intelligence we need for the fight against climate change. It is now a matter of developing the – sometimes unconventional – solutions that will make a difference in this challenging and crucial fight.Key Takeaways
