Bio

Kalpana Bansal is a senior experienced strategic leader, with experience in general management, strategy, higher education, and technology. She was last associated in the Chairman’s office of Reliance Industries Ltd, and Heads Careers, Competencies and Assessment alongside her role as Domain Head of HR Platform.

She is a Doctoral student at XLRI (Strategy) and has completed her Executive Masters in Consulting & Coaching for Change from Said Business School, University of Oxford, and HEC Paris. She has over 20 years’ experience in leading organizations and has expertise in the areas of Organisation Development, Assessment Centers and Competency design, Variable Pay structuring, Compensation design, organization structuring, and has significant expertise in technology (analytics and AI/ML).

Kalpana has several certifications in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Sensitivity Training, and Psychometric testing with multiple certifications. She is certified in Competency Design and Assessment Centres from SHL Surrey, and has worked extensively in this area. She is a certified executive coach (ICF ACC). She has expertise in job evaluation tools and is a specialist in the areas of Management training and Development. She has been a Tie Charter member, where she has been actively involved in mentoring young and budding entrepreneurs. She has been associated with TISS in public policy and CSR area. She has also been associated with some of the Management Schools as guest faculty.

Kalpana has several certifications in Technology including NIIT Honour’s Diploma in Systems Management, SAP 4.6 C, PG in AIML and is currently doing a course in Blockchain. She has been conducting Executive batches in Business Analytics with Tata Institute of Social Sciences
