Session: Leading with Culture: Turning Inclusion into a Competitive Advantage

In a business world under pressure to perform and adapt, culture isn’t just a “nice to have”—it’s a performance driver. In this keynote, Khalil Smith, VP of Inclusion, Diversity, and Engagement at Akamai Technologies, explores how organizations can move beyond buzzwords and build high-performing teams through intentional culture, inclusive leadership, and systemic change.
Drawing from his book The Performance Culture and real-world lessons at Akamai, Khalil shares how awareness, behaviors, community, and systems come together to create not just engagement, but measurable business impact. This session is a powerful call to action for leaders and organizations looking to align people, purpose, and performance.
