Session: How to be an Ally?

During this presentation, we will suggest strategies on how to be an ally for people from diverse groups and backgrounds in the technology environment, which will increase your network, productivity, and partnerships to accomplish common goals.

The target audience is all technology associates looking to create partnerships and increase their impact by being an ally.

We want the attendees to walk away, understanding that creating positive impact, increasing partnerships, and productivity can be achieved by being an ally to all the associates surrounding you, especially for the diverse population.

Bio

Krithika is Sr. Software Engineer Manager in the Marketing and Advertising Technology (MadTech). She started at Home Depot in 2014 as a Senior Software Engineer.
Krithika supports the Marketing Technology team that focuses on Customer Identity, Audience Based Marketing, SEO and Campaign Efficiency Optimization teams. She is also involved with the Technology DEI team’s Inclusive Leadership committee. She is the co-captain for that committee.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family: her husband and 2 boys - Pawan and Varun!
