Session: Women leading AI
AI is becoming more prevalent in our daily lives, from healthcare to finance and education to work. While it has the power to greatly benefit society, it also has the potential to reinforce existing inequities and cause harmful consequences. Women, in particular, are at risk of being negatively impacted by AI, including job discrimination and incorrect medical diagnoses. To move forward, it is critical that women are actively included and empowered in the design and deployment of AI. Women have the potential to lead the way in using AI to create a more equitable and prosperous world for all. In this session, I will discuss 4 ways women can lead AI and practical steps to achieve this.
