Engineering team leader with a mixed background in industry and academy. I hold a PhD in Algorithm Engineering and have professional experience in several tech stacks (Java / Spring, C++, python). I love as much problem abstraction (aka puzzles), understanding the big picture and having an impact, as well as coaching & mentoring others. Strong believer that an effective team is built from a cohesive team of empowered individuals whose collective power is greater than the sum of the parts.
