Session: Creative AI-Native Leadership: Scaling Innovation, Shaping Culture

AI is rapidly transforming how we build software, collaborate, and make decisions. From code generation to AI agents and automated workflows, intelligent systems are reshaping the modern engineering landscape. As the tools become more capable, leaders shaping the future of engineering organizations have an opportunity to design how humans and AI collaborate and innovate. They can define how AI is adopted responsibly and effectively while helping their teams build the skills and confidence needed to participate in this transformation and integrate AI into their daily workflows.

This talk introduces Creative AI-Native Leadership, a practical approach for leading teams in human-AI collaborative environments by shaping work environments that nurture creativity, foster innovation, and accelerate AI-driven technology adoption. We will explore a leadership framework for scaling AI innovation from experimentation to trusted production systems while maintaining engineering rigor, accountability, and trust.

Drawing from own real experience leading ML and AI initiatives, guiding teams to build some of org's first ML-based systems, AI-powered agents and workflows, scaling from experimentation to reliable production systems, the talk will highlight how to balance delivery with innovation, maintain trust in AI systems, and empower teams to confidently experiment with emerging technologies.

Attendees will leave inspired to view AI-native creativity, empathy, critical thinking, and principled decision-making as strategic differentiators along with actionable strategies for leading cultural transformation and scaling AI-driven innovation in their organizations.

Key Takeaways
