Bio

Monique Montanino began her tech sales and marketing career in Dallas, Texas, before migrating like a salmon to Seattle, Washington.

Her book Clicks, Tricks, and Golden Handcuffs: 5-point Roadmap for Tech Executives to Land Big-Impact Roles debuted on Amazon in late 2021. She’s been a featured conference speaker at WomenTech Network, Women in Tech Summit (WITS), and Women in Tech Texas, with hundreds in attendance.

The author wore her golden handcuffs for 18 years at two Fortune 500 companies—lured by cash bonuses, stock options, pensions, and the promise of retirement insurance. It allowed her to retire early, at 55 years old, as a technology sales executive.

Currently splitting her time between Seattle and Austin, Monique is the founder of Resumé Tech Guru, whereby she collaborates with technology executives on their job search journeys. She is a certified executive coach and obtained her BBA from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from St. Mary's University in San Antonio.

You can access her monthly blog posts at www.resumetech.guru or connect with her on LinkedIn for tech exec career advice.
