Session: Fostering Inclusivity in VR
VR has the power to change how people feel and react. It is critically important that VR applications become more inclusive and accessible for everyone. To help foster inclusivity in VR, we will go over a set of recommendations that we hope will help developers design applications that are accessible and can be experienced by all people. In this talk, we will go over some of the ways in which we as developers can design experiences that are more accessible and work collectively towards a more empathetic and welcoming future.Key Takeaways

Bio
Navyata works as a developer advocate for Meta focused on AR/VR in Meta Quest and Open Source Programs. Prior to working at Meta, Navyata has worked as a Software Engineer at multiple companies. Navyata has had the chance to work in various different fields of engineering and was fortunate enough to get a chance to wear multiple hats while working in these companies. She has always been an advocate for Women in Tech and believes that diversity brings out the best of any project that one undertakes. During her free time, Navyata loves to go hiking, traveling and exploring new places.
