Session: Behind Every Click: Unlocking Growth Through Experimentation and Strategic AI

In today’s fast-moving digital world, growth depends on how well we understand and act on user behavior. This session will help data scientists uncover hidden opportunities in websites and products, turning them into measurable business outcomes. You’ll learn why experimentation is essential for building products and strategies that succeed in the real world. I’ll provide an overview of the entire experimentation lifecycle—diving into statistical approaches, nuances of experiment reads, alternative causal inference techniques, methods for measuring both short-term and long-term impact and offer clear recommendations. We’ll also explore why innovation is a process, not a destination—and how an iterative mindset compounds results by building each experiment on the gains of the last.
As a final focus, we’ll learn about Strategic AI—covering core fundamentals and proven methods for measuring success, ROI and metrics that matter most for sustainable growth. I’ll also share key lessons from my own journey in data science—insights to help others avoid pitfalls and accelerate their impact

Key Takeaways

  • Spotting Growth Levers → How to uncover and prioritize opportunities for website optimization and personalization
  • Experiment Smarter → A practical guide to experimentation which includes statistical approaches, metrics, holistic measurement plans, learning outcomes and making the right recommendations
  • Iterate to Innovate → Why a continuous iterative approach fuels lasting impact
  • Strategic AI: Fundamentals, measuring success and ROI
