Session: Early Career Branding: How I built my niche

In this rapidly evolving technological landscape, it is imperative to establish a strong foundation and create a brand for oneself in order to advance and achieve success.
However, what is the right time to start laying it out? Of course, the most effective time to lay this foundation is at the outset of one's career. IT. IS. NOW.

Through this talk, I will share my personal experiences how I coped with imposter syndrome and started out to build my brand, particularly in the early stages of my career. Additionally, I will emphasize the importance of developing a niche for oneself and taking advantage of emerging trends and technologies, which can give one a competitive edge in their respective industries.
Furthermore, I aim to motivate young female computer science enthusiasts to prioritize personal branding and focus on developing strong soft skills, in addition to technical proficiency. By doing so, they can position themselves for success and overcome the challenges that may arise in their careers.

Key Takeaways

  • Become an "influencer" at your work environment
  • Do not dilute the importance of soft skills
  • Grow your network to build your tomorrow
