Session: Stop Waiting to Be Chosen: Building Your Own C-Suite

Break the rule that you have to wait to be chosen.
Instead of waiting for a formal title or promotion, I built my own lane through K.Consults, taking C-suite-level ownership of strategy and outcomes long before my role said “executive.”

Key Takeaways

  • how to move from “support role” to strategic partner and fractional C-suite without waiting for permission.
  • carve out your own lane
  • Rule-breaking career moves

Bio

Panelist:
I help ambitious brands build magnetic identities and measurable growth engines through strategic brand positioning, performance-driven marketing, and integrated storytelling.

With 15+ years of experience helping brands grow with intention across fashion, retail, and technology. I’ve led marketing for founder-led, family-owned, and private equity backed businesses helping to build brands, drive revenue, and create clarity during moments of growth, reinvention, and transition.

As Managing Director of Marketing at Terri Eagle Group, I provide fractional CMO leadership to companies navigating scale, rebrands, leadership shifts, and mergers & acquisitions. My work often supports organizations post-acquisition, aligning brand narrative, go-to-market strategy, and team execution during periods where trust, momentum, and integration matter most. I sit at the intersection of storytelling and performance, ensuring marketing isn’t just visible, but effective and durable.

I’m known for translating complex business goals into clear brand direction, guiding teams through change, and building marketing foundations that scale without unnecessary overhead. Whether advising founders, partnering with PE firms, or leading cross-functional teams, my focus is always the same: clarity, alignment, and sustainable growth. I also serve on the Board of Directors for Fashion Group International DC, supporting community and creative leadership in the DMV.

Her keynotes, workshops, and tailored corporate leadership development programs have brought her into partnership with organizations like the NBA, McDonald's, The Walt Disney Company, Voya Financial, and Warner Brothers — designing high-impact experiences for diverse leaders navigating purpose, career evolution, and what it means to lead with greater clarity and influence.

Through KNOWN, Christina leads a thriving community and private coaching experiences for purpose-driven professional women who are ready to translate their career capital into profitable businesses — and curates signature retreats and immersive experiences that move women from accomplished to known.
