Bio
Rachel Zimmer: Rachel co-founded, scaled and exited her company – 5Crowd – in under 3 years. Since then, she’s been active in the Canadian ecosystem enabling other entrepreneurs as an Entrepreneur In Residence at the DMZ and now as the General Manager and Partner of EF Toronto. She’s been named Top 30 Under 30 by Marketing Magazine, Young Entrepreneur of the Year by Desjardins Bank and Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year by the Toronto Board of Trade.
Gina Yoo: Gina is a former B2C founder with a strong background in finance and marketing. After driving impact at Johnson and Johnson and the Office of the Mayor of New York City, Gina Co-Founded Mannr - a human led, AI assisted personal shopping marketplace helping men save time and simplify their fashion purchase decisions. She recently appeared on Breakfast Television and currently leads the Venture team at EF.
Derek Jouppi: Derek is the ex-COO & co-founder of Suncayr. Some major accomplishments include a granted US patent, selling into 7000+ retail stores including Walmart, CVS, Boots, and 40+ major retail chains, as well as winning over 50+ pitch and technology awards. He also has a gold medal in dragon boat racing nationally in Australia and now leads Special projects at EF.
