Resilience is often treated as a technical feature but in reality, it starts with culture. In this talk, I share how a platform team in a highly regulated banking environment transformed its impact by building a shared engineering identity and motto. By instilling pride, ownership, and clarity of purpose, resilience became inbuilt in the way engineers designed, operated, and adapted systems. Bio
I am an engineering leader with 20+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and platform engineering. I began my career as a help desk engineer and have since led large-scale infrastructure migrations, mergers and acquisitions, and new office infrastructure build-outs across Europe. Today, I lead a critical platform team in the banking sector, where I focus on building resilient systems and cultivating engineering cultures that thrive through change.
