Session: Leading Neuro-Inclusive Teams Through Complexity
This session will explore how neuro-inclusive teams can navigate complex, volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) environments through adaptive leadership. By integrating principles of neuro-diversity and inclusive leadership, participants will learn how to leverage diverse cognitive approaches and foster environments that support psychological safety and innovative problem-solving.
Key Takeaways:
Understanding Neurodiversity: The value of different cognitive styles and how they contribute to complex problem-solving.
Adaptive Leadership: Strategies for leading through change and uncertainty, emphasising flexibility, learning, and collaboration.
Creating Inclusive Environments: Tools and techniques for fostering psychological safety and trust within diverse teams via existing agile guidelines
Learn By Doing:
Participants will engage in scenario-based exercises where they will apply adaptive leadership techniques to lead neuro-diverse teams through complex challenges. These exercises will emphasise real-world application and collaborative problem-solving. In addition, the workshop will offer approaches that help with awareness of our own and other people’s biases which may subconsciously exclude or diminish the contributions of others that may exacerbate complexity in a VUCA world.
