Session: Breaking In, Standing Out: From Classroom to Award-Winning PM

What does it take to turn a graduate degree into a standout career in product management? Join Ritika Mandi, recent winner of the Stevie Award for Product Developer of the Year, as she shares her journey from being an intern at a two-month-old startup to leading award-winning product initiatives less than a year into her full-time role. In this session, you'll hear firsthand how the MSPM program shaped her success—and meet fellow MSPM alumni who will share their own stories of navigating product roles and making an impact. Through a dynamic, storytelling-based panel experience, we’ll explore the skills and mindset that help MSPM grads stand out in the competitive world of product.

Key Takeaways

  • See how you can lead meaningful initiatives and ship features—even as an intern or early-career PM.
  • Learn how taking a chance on a small startup can lead to growth, impact, and national recognition.
  • Walk away inspired to design a career that aligns with what drives you.
