Breaking into the tech world is challenging, but doing so in a foreign country adds another layer of complexity. In this talk, I’ll share my journey of moving across borders, growing into a Senior Product Designer role, and finding my voice in a new professional landscape. Sapir is a Senior Product Designer with a passion for creating user-centered solutions and building communities for mid-senior designers. Originally from Israel, she moved to the UK during the pandemic, navigating the challenges of breaking into a new culture and professional landscape. With a background in care roles, Sapir brings deep empathy to her design work, focusing on inclusivity and accessibility. She’s also an ADPList mentor, a Medium writer, and a vocal advocate for tackling impostor syndrome and celebrating imperfect portfolios.
