Session: Beyond the Chatbot: How to Leverage RAG for Smarter AI Assistants
As AI evolves, the expectations around AI-powered assistants are growing. Traditional chatbots, which rely on pre-programmed responses, can’t always meet the demand for accuracy and flexibility. In this talk, I’ll explore how we can move beyond these basic bots by leveraging Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to create smarter, more effective AI assistants.
I’ll walk you through real-world applications of RAG across various industries like customer support, finance, and healthcare, showing how RAG enhances accuracy, reduces latency, and drives better user interactions. But I’ll also share the challenges we face when implementing RAG, such as data quality, latency issues, and the risk of hallucinations. I’ll share best practices for overcoming these challenges and successfully integrating RAG into AI assistants.
