Session: From Capability to Outcome: Where AI still needs Humans

AI systems today can generate code, train models, and demonstrate impressive capabilities — yet most organizations struggle to convert these capabilities into reliable, scalable outcomes. The failure is rarely the model. It is the absence of delivery capability.

This talk focuses on the concrete execution layers required to operationalize AI in the real world: cloud foundations, Kubernetes orchestration, data and model pipelines, environment consistency, rollout automation, and production governance. Using examples from large-scale AI and cloud deployments, it examines why challenges such as scaling up training, spinning up inference services, managing cost and latency, handling failures, and scaling back down safely remain deeply human-led problems.

The session argues that execution in the AI era is not abstract “change management,” but a set of learnable delivery capabilities — spanning Cloud, Kubernetes, MLOps, SRE, and release operations — that turn AI from a lab experiment into a business outcome. While AI can assist in building components, humans still design the systems, make tradeoffs, and own accountability when things break.

Attendees will leave with a practical understanding of the delivery capabilities that matter most for AI success, why these roles are increasingly critical, and how professionals focused on execution can build durable, future-proof careers without needing to be product builders or headline strategists.

Key Takeaways

  • Why execution & operationalizing products will never go out of fashion in an AI world.

Bio

I solve one of the most expensive problems in infrastructure: Operationalizing products in real world deployments.

Across Datacenter, Cloud, and Telecom, the constraint to scaling is rarely technology. It is the ability to translate innovation into profitable, repeatable execution at global scale. My work focuses on building AI-First Delivery organizations that turn complex pilots into durable revenue engines.

I operate at the intersection of deep technical rigor, operating-model design, and P&L accountability, transforming delivery from a cost center into a strategic growth driver. The manifesto I drive is - Growth through execution and customer value creation.

I am a category creator of the AI first delivery model - A framework that leverages AI at the right levers in product deployments & operations.

As Global Head of Service Delivery, I drive the integration of Cloud, RAN, and OSS product lines into a single global delivery motion. I lead the organization that is redefining delivery into a strategic leverage by combining Solution Integration, AI-led automation, DevOps, and Infra-as-Code into one live system with closed-loop feedback. My teams don't just "deploy" technology; they accelerate time-to-value for the world’s most complex telco transformations.
