Sumita Palanisamy is a Director of Engineering at CarGurus. As a Director of Engineering, Sumita is working with product and business leaders across CarGurus to build a better user experience for dealers and consumers alike. With over 15 years of experience, Sumita has also lead various teams at athenaHealth to build a better thriving healthcare system for all.Sumita is a AWS Solution architect and has a passion for new technologies and has proposed and implemented new processes such as Chaos Engineering practices at athenahealth. In addition, she is passionate about volunteering and has been a mentor at Girls who Code and a Big sister. She is also the current volunteer Director at Women Who Code Boston.
