Bio
Svitlana Borzenko - is a Senior Software Engineer at Zalando focused on personalization, recommendation, and search systems. She worked on recommendation and ranking platforms and contributed to multiple projects which enabled personalized customer experience by applying machine learning and experimentation. She is also a core member of the Zalando Women in Tech Employee Resource Group and participates in hiring new colleagues. Svitlana holds a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics and Informatics from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.Darya Dedik - is a Senior Applied Scientist at Zalando specializing in personalization and recommendation systems. Throughout her 6.5-year journey at Zalando, she has contributed to various projects, focusing on building outfit recommendations, product ranking, and developing an A/B experimentation tool utilized across the organization. Darya holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Max-Planck Institute for Informatics (Saarland University), with a specialization in Natural Language Processing. She is also a core member of the Zalando Women in Tech Employee Resource Group.
Nour Karessli - is an Applied Science Manager at Zalando. She holds a Master degree in Computer Science focused on machine learning and computer vision from Saarland University - Max Planck Institute for Informatics. She leads applied research efforts on building personalized machine learning models to provide customers with tailored fashion inspiration and recommendations. In parallel, she’s on the organizing committee of Zalando Data Science Community (DSC) and Zalando Women in Tech Employee Resource Group (ZWT ERG).
