Session: How to Beat Imposter Syndrome in Tech
Have you ever questioned, “do I belong here?” or doubted your ability to achieve, despite evidence of your skills?
Dr. Taniya Mishra will be joined by three amazing tech leaders (***see below) as they share their career journeys and advice on how to overcome imposter syndrome both in the moment and in our overall mindset.
This panel session will also cover how to overcome everyday workplace challenges that women and other “tech minorities” experience, such as minimizing yourself, apologizing too much, believing an inaccurate picture of yourself, lack of advocates and trust network, and more!
- Learn how to recognize feelings of imposter syndrome, identify the root cause, and create a plan to tackle it head on!
- You'll also learn actionable ways in which you can support others struggling with their own feelings of imposter syndrome.
