Session: Pivot & Progress: How to Transition Careers Without Losing Strategic Momentum

A career pivot doesn’t have to mean starting over, when done strategically, it becomes a power move. In this session, attendees will learn how to pivot with clarity, confidence, and long-term positioning in an AI-driven, rapidly evolving job market. Using a future-focused framework, participants will identify high-value transferable skills, elevate their personal brand visibility, and understand how to activate the right mentors and sponsors to accelerate opportunity. They’ll also see how to leverage AI as a strategic ally, not a threat, in amplifying their career trajectory. Whether returning after a pause, changing industries, or stepping into leadership, this session equips women with the mindset and strategy to pivot forward, not backward, and sustain their momentum for the long game.

Key Takeaways

  • Identify and package their transferable skills to reposition themselves confidently for new industries or roles.
  • Craft a strategic personal brand narrative that signals value and direction, not confusion, during a pivot.
  • Leverage mentors, sponsors, and strategic relationships to accelerate visibility and access to new opportunities.
  • Use AI tools intentionally to enhance brand presence, storytelling, and transition planning without losing authenticity or strategic control.
