Session: Dare to take the career road less travelled

Have you ever wanted to take a risk by pursuing a career that wasn’t considered “safe” by family or friends?
Sometimes, the best decision you can make is following your heart and passion – and not just what makes other people happy.

In this session, I will share a bit of my experience:
- How an aspiring Maths' teacher ended up working for Microsoft
- What are my top 3 takeaways from my journey in Tech so far
- Hopefully inspire you to pursue a career in Tech :)

Key Takeaways

  • Risk as long as you feel you're taking a leap of excitement, purpose and self-believe!
  • We are who we choose to be
  • Embrace your uniqueness.
