What makes a great leader?In my interactive session, " Upskill, Reskill, Innovate", I will be sharing a creative solution-finding approach to sustainable leadership innovation. Participants will learn how I have creatively turned my life and career challenges ( war, immigration, revolution, gender equality, imposter syndrome, emotional stress ) into my superpower and having a purpose-driven career.
Participants will complete the session as enthusiastic leaders, armed with frameworks to:
Understand the value of continually upskilling and re-skilling

As a highly energetic and inspiring leader, Maryam has spent her life propelling change and creating purposeful impact.Maryam lives in NYC and has 20+ years of experience in Digital Strategy, Innovation and Transformation working with Fortune 500 firms, startups, non-profit organizations and universities across the USA, Europe, Middle East and Asia.
Her industry expertise spans across multiple industries and sectors in Banking, Education, Tech, Luxury Retail, Telecom, Media Entertainment, Fashion, Beauty, Art, Travel & Tourism, and Non-Profit, among others.
Passionate about unlocking businesses and people’s creativity, Maryam founded "Innovation Bazar" a boutique consulting & training firm based in NYC. She empowers her clients to overcome challenges of the digital era by leveraging design thinking methodology and data-driven capabilities.
In addition to her consulting practice, Maryam is an educator and facilitates executive online courses in digital business strategy offered by MIT Sloan School of Management.
She is an adviser, coach and mentor to entrepreneurs and startups at various accelerators and incubators worldwide. (UN Women USA NY, Techstars, NUMA, ERA, SongHan).
An avid Advocate for UN Sustainable Development Goals 3,4,5, and 10.
Prior to Innovation Bazar, Maryam held senior leadership roles at IBM, First Republic Bank, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Mark Giusti.
Maryam offers a unique combination of international experience, business acumen, technical expertise, and executive management capabilities. She is continuously focused on developing creative initiatives that enable strategic sustainable growth with impactful results.
