Responsibilities

  • Manage comprehensive robotic inventory including hardware, parts, tools, and specialized equipment
  • Assemble, reconfigure, and disassemble robotic systems and test setups according to engineering specifications
  • Maintain lab organization, cleanliness, and operational readiness while enforcing safety standards and procedures
  • Support robot setup, calibration, and basic troubleshooting to ensure system functionality
  • Assist with teleoperation activities including system configuration, monitoring, and operational support
  • Perform electrical wiring, cable routing/management, and routine power and system checks
  • Collaborate with robotics engineers during testing phases and data collection activities

Requirements

  • Associate degree or technical certification in Robotics, Mechatronics, or Engineering Technology
  • Hands-on experience working with robotic, electromechanical, or automated systems
  • Familiarity with Robot Operating Software (ROS) and basic software debugging techniques
  • Understanding of lab safety protocols and proper equipment handling procedures
  • Ability to interpret CAD files and layout drawings to support assembly and setup activities
  • Experience with 3D printing technologies and their application in robotics development
  • Strong organizational skills for inventory management and meticulous attention to detail
  • Prior experience in robotics labs, manufacturing, or industrial automation environments preferred

This posting includes a good faith range of the salary EPAM would reasonably expect to pay the selected candidate. The range provided reflects base salary only. Individual compensation offers within the range are based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to: geographic location, experience, credentials, education, training; the demand for the role; and overall business and labor market considerations. Most candidates are hired at a salary within the range disclosed. Salary range: $85,000 - $150,000.
