As the CTO Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop a point of view, capture, prioritize and analyze technical requirements

  • Possess strong leadership skills and further the evolution of intellectual capital assets and developing architectural resources

  • Apply Architectural Methods and Techniques.

  • Educate, mentor and coach teams in applying architectural techniques

  • Facilitate and capture lessons learned from projects to update methodologies and assets

  • Work closely with customer and internal teams to gather business and technical requirements.

  • Possess strong leadership skills and further the evolution of intellectual capital assets and developing architectural resources

  • Be a recognized as a technical thought leader inside and outside of Kyndryl

  • Support company initiatives for offerings, contracts, technologies, and go-to-market

  • Set priorities to build technical architectural and project assets/deliverables for repurposing

  • Achieve a “trusted advisor” persona as viewed by our clients, seller, and delivery organizations

Infrastructure Architects are the key link between Kyndryl and our clients. You’re in a technical leadership role, uniting and guiding stakeholders from clients, governance, and project executives to delivery and sometimes even the vendors who work with the client. You’ll be there from the start of a project — understanding what’s needed and figuring out the best technical solution. And you’ll be there at the finish, delivering the right product on time and within budget.

As an Infrastructure Architect, you’ll draw upon the full breadth of your talent and experience. This is a technical leadership role, so we want you to bring your vision, knowledge, and leadership to each project. To the client, you’re the subject matter expert – consulting early, gathering inputs, understanding what they need from our solution. You define what Kyndryl can do to meet this solution. You design the best solution for the job. And finally, you’re the tech leader for implementation.

You’ll also become expert at knowing when and how to call on other SMEs outside your wheelhouse. Thinking your way around pre-existing limitations will grow your creativity and flexibility. Who You Are

Required Technical and Professional Experience

  • 8+ years of technology experience, with 6+ years of Public Cloud experience

  • 5+ years’ experience working within large, complex projects/programs.

  • Certified Cloud Architect for at least one cloud provider: AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud or Google Cloud

  • Either:
    - Experience in designing and implementing Enterprise Applications (SAP/Oracle) in public cloud  or On-Premises (preferred) or
    - Experience in designing and implementing contemporary Enterprise Information Management architecture, design patterns and execution such as Big Data, Data Lakes, Data Modeling and Structure, Tools and Best Practices.

  • Deep hands-on experience providing architectural leadership on cloud implementation projects for either Enterprise Applications or Data & AI

  • Well versed in one or more hyperscaler cloud frameworks like AWS WAF, Azure CAF etc, with experience designing, reviewing, and migrating existing estates to these cloud frameworks.

  • In depth understanding of cloud best practices for landing zones, security, operations to be incorporated for architectures

  • Leading teams towards an outcome and break down impediments

  • Applied Mature Architecture design framework, principles, and methodologies (high-level technical design, low-level technical design, and technical solution design integration)

  • Applied Agile principles

  • Applied Project Management practices

  • Ability to Interpret requirements and create solutions

  • Ability to Facilitate workshops

  • Experience in Technical Enablement

  • Managing technical project workstreams to completion

  • Ability to articulate key technologies’ impact on cost, capacity, transformation, risk, business enablement and transformation objectives

  • Applied Client Facing Ability to understand and provide guidance and recommendations on solutions to address clients’ needs, challenges, and transformations

  • Evaluate risk and merit to make recommendations on available and speculative information

  • Expert skills in presenting to a global audience and possess the ability to make business people understand technical information, and vice versa

  • Social skills and a customer service attitude are a must

  • Fluent English



Preferred Technical and Professional Experience :

  • SAP/Oracle/Hyperscale Certification

  • Data/AI Certification on Public Cloud

  • Additional specialty certifications in Hyperscaler PaaS services
