As a Software Engineering - Developer at Kyndryl, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge software solutions. Your work will play a critical role in our business offering, your code will deliver value to our customers faster than ever before, and your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be critical in ensuring the success of our products.

Using design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components. You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product. You will have the opportunity to architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI/CD pipeline for it.

As a valued member of our team, you will provide work estimates for assigned development work, and guide features, functional objectives, or technologies being built for interested parties. Your contributions will have a significant impact on our products' success, and you will be part of a team that is passionate about innovation, creativity, and excellence. Key Responsibilities:

Minimum 4years to 6years of relevant experience required.

1. New Relic Platform Management

   - Install, configure, and maintain New Relic agents and integrations across applications and infrastructure components.

   - Monitor the health and performance of New Relic components, including servers, applications, databases, and network services.

   - Ensure the availability and reliability of New Relic services through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting.

2. Monitoring and Alerting:

   - Design and configure monitoring dashboards, charts, and alerts to track key performance metrics and detect anomalies.

   - Collaborate with stakeholders to define alerting thresholds and escalation procedures based on business priorities and SLAs.

   - Monitor and respond to alerts generated by New Relic, investigating and resolving issues in a timely manner.

3. Performance Optimization:

   - Analyze performance data collected by New Relic to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.

   - Work closely with development and operations teams to address performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies.

   - Implement recommendations and best practices for optimizing application and infrastructure performance based on New Relic insights.

4. Capacity Planning and Scaling:

   - Use New Relic data to forecast capacity requirements and plan for scalability as the organization grows.

   - Recommend infrastructure upgrades and resource allocations based on performance trends and projections.

   - Coordinate with procurement and deployment teams to provision additional resources as needed.

5. Documentation and Training:

   - Document New Relic configurations, monitoring strategies, and best practices for internal knowledge sharing.

   - Provide training and guidance to users and administrators on using New Relic tools effectively.

   - Maintain up-to-date documentation on New Relic deployment architecture and integrations.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- Proven experience as a New Relic Administrator or similar role, with hands-on experience managing New Relic deployments.

- Strong knowledge of New Relic products and features, including APM, infrastructure monitoring, and synthetic monitoring.

- Proficiency in configuring and customizing New Relic dashboards, alerts, and reports.

- Experience with performance analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization using New Relic data.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- New Relic certifications, such as New Relic Certified Performance Pro or New Relic Certified Implementation Engineer, are a plus.
