The Role

Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the SAP BusinessObjects platform, including SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise, SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence, SAP BusinessObjects Explorer, SAP BusinessObjects Dashboards, SAP BusinessObjects Lumira, and other related components

· Monitor and troubleshoot the SAP BO environment to ensure system availability, performance, and reliability

· Identify and resolve any issues related to server connectivity, data access, system stability, and application performance

· Plan and perform system upgrades, patches, and service pack installations in coordination with the IT infrastructure and development teams

· Ensure compliance with SAP BO best practices and security standards during the upgrade process

· Collaborate with database administrators, network administrators, and other IT teams to optimize system performance, implement backup and recovery procedures, and ensure high availability of the SAP BO platform

· Configure and manage user access controls, security profiles, and authentication mechanisms in accordance with organizational policies and industry standards

· Monitor user activity and enforce data security measures to protect sensitive information

· Develop and maintain system documentation, including installation guides, configuration procedures, troubleshooting manuals, and user guides

· Train end-users and provide technical support for SAP BO applications, addressing their queries and issues

· Stay updated with the latest SAP BO releases, patches, and industry trends

· Evaluate new features and functionalities and propose their adoption to enhance the organization's reporting and analytics capabilities

· Collaborate with business users, report developers, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements, design and develop effective reporting solutions, and ensure seamless integration of SAP BO with other enterprise systems


Who You Are

4 to 6years experience

Participate in capacity planning activities to assess system performance, resource utilization, and scalability requirements

· Recommend and implement infrastructure enhancements to accommodate growing business needs

· Stay abreast of SAP BO best practices, security standards, and performance optimization techniques

· Provide recommendations for system improvements, automation opportunities, and operational efficiencies

· Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field

· Proven experience as a SAP BO Admin or in a similar role, with expertise in administering SAP BusinessObjects platform

· Strong knowledge of SAP BO architecture, components, and integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems

· Proficiency in SAP BO installation, configuration, and troubleshooting

· Experience in managing security, user access controls, and data privacy in the SAP BO environment

· Familiarity with SAP BO reporting and analytics tools, such as Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, Lumira, and Dashboards

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

· Proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential system issues bottlenecks

· SAP BO certification is a plus
