I am Vani, graduated as a mechanical engineer in India. It was tough to be in mechanical engineering. 6 girls out of 150 boys was an insane ratio, I could do well only in theory, my labs were bad, and I could not perform well because of the difficulty in doing them. It requires a lot of physical strength which I lacked. I eventually lost interest in it. That is when I discovered other aspects like tech, I started to like tech, marketing, and digital. That is how I switched from mechanical background to tech world. |
