SOC Engineering, Sr Engineer

We are a team working on producing highly optimized hardware IP for the ARC family of configurable processors. We are looking for an engineer like you to be part of the team to work on our world-class microprocessors that allow our customers to develop highly optimized and very sophisticated embedded designs. Our microprocessor IP is delivered with a comprehensive implementation flow which is also configurable and supported by full portfolio of Synopsys memory compilers and standard cell libraries. For our new family of microprocessor IPs we extend and apply these flows for purposes of qualification, benchmarking and test chip implementation.
 
The ASIC Physical design Engineer will be part of an international multi-disciplinary team with many opportunities to assist in customer sales and design-ins of our IP. There are great opportunities to learn about potential applications of our microprocessor IP's by participating in in-house test chip designs and development platforms.
 
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering or computer science. Master's a plus.  Requires 5+ years of related experience. Good written, verbal and methodical skills desired.  Exposure to Verilog/VHDL. Capability in Unix, Perl and TCL scripting. Knowledge of microprocessor design is a plus.
