SOC CAD Engineer, Principal

The SOC CAD Engineer will be responsible to support current project execution, contribute to the CAD flow content and capability, and have a comprehensive understanding of overall SOC implementation methodologies from start to finish. You will also be engaging directly with customers for flow support, setup, and debug and play a critical role in their execution success. 

You’ll play a visible, key, and central role in representing the CAD team to internal and external customers.  This requires great communication, documentation, and possibly some marketing skills.  Translating implementation difficulties into flow automation should be your desire and purpose.  Tool knowledge, implementation experience, and programming knowledge are required. A strong desire to increase user efficiency and throughput are a plus.
 
Requirements:

• At least 8-10 years experienced in SOC implementation. 
• Bachelors or master’s degree in electrical engineering or similar area of study.
• Hands-on experience in programming languages used for tool control (TCL) and Unix utilities (Python, Perl, shell scripts) 
• Ability to communicate via technical presentations and generate effective documentation. 
• Experience in implementation of entire SOC.  Play an advisory role in methodology and SOC implementation correction and adjustment. 
• Ability to self-manage, interface with program management, project leadership, and complete tasks with effective documentation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the entire SOC flows over varied methodologies

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $159,000 – $239,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
