As a senior Atlassian product administrator, you will join a top-notch IT Engineering Application team that develops and supports Jira, Confluence, Fisheye, ServiceNow and Stack Overflow applications that are used across the company. You will primarily be leading and performing product development and management work surrounding Atlassian applications usage at Synopsys that include but are not limited to the following activities. You can expand to also cover other application products as you broaden your professional development.

You will

  • Be responsible for hands-on technical development, maintenance, and enhancement of the Atlassian applications, both Data Center and Cloud versions
  • Collaborate with internal customers, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Identify functional requirements with problem statements, assess available technologies, and recommend solution options.
  • Formulate and define application/project goals, scope, and implementation schedules
  • Provide application design and detailed functional/technical specifications
  • Monitor and report statuses of project activities
  • Identify issues that inhibit meeting project goals and implements timely resolutions


Requirements

This position typically requires a minimum of 8+ years of related hands-on experiences and skills as follows with a BS or MS degree:

 

  • Atlassian certified Jira administrator for data center and server
  • Atlassian certified Jira administrator for cloud
  • Experience in application administration/configuration/development of Atlassian products including both Data Center and Cloud versions. Particularly, Atlassian Access, Jira, Confluence, and/or Bitbucket, and critical add-on apps like BigPicture, Advanced Roadmaps, Zephyr Scale, qTest, Tempo Timesheets, eazyBI Reports and Charts, Automation for Jira, Power Scripts, Configuration Manager, Elements Connect, Exalate
  • Experience in performing as an Atlassian Cloud Org Admin, particularly in the management of Atlassian Access/Atlassian Cloud SCIM User Provisioning with OKTA, SSO/Authentication Policy, and managed accounts
  • Experience in working with business stakeholders for user requirement collection, problem statement identification, and functional design and fit/gap analysis
  • Experience in software product development, implementation and change management processes
  • Experience in product management practices and governance
  • Experience in REST API and Python or other scripting languages
  • Solid analytic and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent technical and spec writing skills
  • Ability to work in a global team environment
  • Enthusiasm to learn new technologies
  • Experience in IT Service Management operations and system usage such as Incident Management, Service Request, Change Management, and Knowledge Management/KCS


The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $94,000-$142,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
